Um ok my site I'm doing a bit of a restructure, and as such, the blog which was originally at just mysite.com I wanted to move to blog.mysite.com, so I moved everything so I had that working perfectly fine, but seeing as the main site wouldn't be up for a while, I decided to do a redirect to the blog site in cPanel. I know I should have used a blank index.htm file and used that in cPanel for the redirect, but instead I used mysite.com/* to redirect to blog.mysite.com. Now of course cPanel didn't like the * so it didn't work. I then tried to remove it, but when I press remove for the redirect, it doesn't actually delete, and is still there when I get back into the redirect page :(
I've shown it to a rep from the hosting company and are going to get their techs to have a look at it because they couldn't fix it either, but does anyone here know if theres something that we are missing?
