Hope I'm in the right forum here folks.

I recieved a query from a guy who runs a chain of betting shops (in the UK). He wants to take the business online and I'm going to meet him to discuss the project with him. I like to be as prepared as possible going into any meeting but this is a new one for me.
Do betting shops tend to set betting events and prices electronically, can this data be automatically transferred onto the web? Is there a central betting system that feeds prices to numerous betting sites?
If anyone has any clues on this, I would be very grateful. I appretiate that it's impossible to tell without meeting up and finding out from the client, but if I could get any sort of idea before hand, it would be VERY useful.

Thanks
