Is there a simple query to determine a website's hosting environment?

This would be an external site that I have nothing to do with. For example, I would like to know which one of these platforms it is hosted on...

Netcraft is the tool you are looking for. They give you all sorts of good information. Careful though, it can be addictive, I've wasted many a work hour on that site.
