Looking for a fee (not free) based application or service for "Site Search".
Small site with around 24 pages.
Seen one for $500.00 a year. - Way to much cash.
Seen one for free that searches the title tag. - Search is a little limited.
Looking for something in between.

Please, any suggestions or experiences?

Oh yeah . . . don't want advertisments as part of the deal.

[Atomz.com...]

No advertisements but your own (if you want). For the free service (500 page limit) the "Powered by Atomz" graphic must be displayed on the search results page (160 x 35 pixels). Or you can pay to have it removed. I actually like the graphic.

It's also highly configurable. I set mine up to behave like Google. I can give you an example if you like.

Thanks Froggyman it looks like this might work.
However the only "no logo" option I could see costs $500/hr.
Is there something else that I missed on their site or something they don't advertise?

<edit>Whooops meant $500/yr!!!</edit>

Thanks for the suggestion, is not that I WANT TO PAY . . I am just worried that any FREE based system could be here today and gone tommorrow.

Sticky mail me, perhaps we can do some business on this one.

If you have the capability to host cgi scripts, specifically perl you can set up a search function relatively easily.

e.g [worldwidemart.com...]

see [worldwidemart.com...] for a demo of it.

I used this on a small 18 page site before I started coding my own and it does the job reasonably well.

edit: sorry just noticed you asked for a fee based solution so not sure if this is any help :)
