Forum Moderators: phranque
I've looked at Mambo and PHPNuke, and these, as well as many others, all seem to utilise the same structuring...Hdr, 3 Col, Ftr.
I am looking for something that I can just apply the code to the back end of the site so that it calls the relevant details...... or that will
have advanced features for utilising a page template and generating pages on the fly depending on what is called for!
Yet I am having no luck.
Am I asking too much?
Any Ideas?
I've tried the phpnukes and postnukes, a few other cms'es and am extremely glad I stumbled onto this one. I will update my profile to reflect my current phpwcms project site, that way you can see a little sample. Of course the phpwcms forum will have literally hundreds of "proud of my site" posts from people all over. That will *really* show you some diversity.
The only drawback I have found is that it has a lot of support from germany... I don't sprechen ze deutch (see, that's probably even misspelled!). So if you speak german, you're already a step ahead. *wink*
Good luck on your quest. Let me know if I can answer any questions for you. Oh and by the way- You might see my ecommerce component if you visit my site in my profile... That is NOT phpwcms, it is a hybrid xcart deployment that i've integrated with phpwcms.
Best Regards-
RWS
It does take a little time to get your head around, but it's a nice system.
