I have a website that I host with a company on a shared server with a dedicated IP address. Today I was told by someone that he can't seem to access my website from home but it's definitely up and a majority of people seems to have no problem accessing the website. The thing is that when I try to do a reverse dns lookup on my webserver IP address I get an error. Is it possible that it could be the reason why that person can't access our website?
What makes me think that reverse dns could the reason of my problem is that I host another website on another host which has a reverse DNS enable and he can access it. But I guess it's possible that it could be for an entirely different reason.
Thank you.
