SSL - Private Key/CSR Generation

Win2000AdvServer/SP2 upgrade to SP4 - new certificate?

I'm reading thawte's instructions on installing a Secure Certificate (just bought one from Godaddy) and they recommend having at least SP3 installed for IIS5. I'm assuming that IIS5 gets serviced the same time that any service pack for Windows 2000 is applied.

So, the instructions say to have IIS5 generate the Key/CSR pair. It say that the Key validates computer-specific information about my web server and organization.

Currently, SP2 is installed on a Win2kAdvServer. If I install SP4, will I have to get the certificate re-issued? If I move to MS SBS2003 on a new machine, will I have to get a new certificate?
