my sales guys are all excited about Webinar or WebEx software. Those applications is like remote-access, only the other way around. A software tool captures their screen, and displays it on a remote PC within the browser. It's admittedly a great tool to demonstrate software, and it saves a lot of driving.
They hooked up with an online service's introductory offer, and now they want to start seriously with more workstations hooked up to it and with an online subscription form on the homepage. They also want to do one-to-many, instead of one-to-one.
OK, any recommendations on what services to use? Or even better, a tool which I can install on my LAMP server to host this myself? Any tools or services which also support Firefox and Opera and not only Internet Explorer?
Any other experiences, tips and tricks?
Yeah, sure good tool, can replace some long-distance travel if you need to show a document to someone real quick and dicuss it. Will never replace human interaction.
It is obviously IE-only 'cause it uses ActiveX to dump a whole load of software on your PC to support meetings.

I set up another Webex meeting (actually their support center, which is a stripped down version, but it works thesame way) and the other party had a Mac with OSX.
The meeting went fine. I could share and control the mac desktop, she could share and control my desktop as well.
So, I guess the Webex can work with Mac and PC now.
Cool.
