So do search engines state which file extensions CAN be included or do they state the ones that CAN'T be included.
Say we use .pop - if they have a system that excludes everything APART FROM .html, .shtml etc then it won't work. BUT if they list all the ones to exclude and .pop is not on this list then it should get listed.
If anyone can help with this I would be most grateful.

If they do I haven't found it! :) Many SEs index images, music and video so I presume those extensions are acceptable to them.
Let's hope someone else jumps in here and can provide more insight.
