Converting a Delphi website

More trouble than it's worth?

I've been approached with a project that involves converting a site to be more SE friendly. The site was originally built three years ago and has been constructed with an unusual combination of ASP, Perl and Delphi.

Basically, the parts of the site created with Delphi are spitting out some very unfriendly URLs, such as /search.exe?nav&navshopping&sr$$searchlist. Most of the site links to search.exe, which spits out the relevant HTML pages.

Does anybody know if it's possible to re-work the Delphi side of things to be more search engine friendly?

We can have IIS rewrite the ASP URLs - would it be possible to use something similar to rewrite the URLs spat out by Delphi, or are we looking at re-constructing these sections?
