I am asking this question on behalf of my web host server. I have just created my web site, a simple set of pages with vacation pics and text. I configured three of the pages with embedded sound mp3's to autostart streaming audio when the pages open. However, the sound never happens until it has completely downloaded. I asked my webhost if this is perhaps a server-side problem. He told me to ask around, and he would fix it if he could (and it didn't cost him any money :)
From what I can find, the problem may be a server-side configuration for MIME types?
He is running Windows 2000 Server with IIS 5.0.
If someone could tell me what to tell him, or, better yet, just outline a series of steps that I could copy and paste and send to him, it would really help.
