The site displays, the links work but there is no functioning theme, no background, and all links are text only. E.g, no front page working.
The former host was Win NT, and now it's on Linux, as a result it's case sensitive and I had to do a rename on half the pages.
The thing that I note is that when I upload the site, it insists on creating _BORDERS _FPCLASS _OVERLAY _THEMES directories in upper case, even though the same directories already exist in lower case.
I did a test, and loaded up another front page site to the host, to ensure that front page is working at that IP address, and that site displays ok, so it does not seem to be a hosting problem.
At this point I thinks I have almost solved it, but I still don't fully understand what happened. Here's an example of what has been going on. I have on my machine a directory _fpclass - [all lowercase] - but when FP uploads it is ends up as _FPCLASS despite the fact that _fpclass already exists on the server. Also all files with that directory get uploaded as all upper case file names even though they are lowercase.
If I rename _fpclass to _fpclaSS and then have FP upload all pages, then it ends up on the server as _fpclaSS, if I then rename it back to _fpclass, and use FP to upload all pages again it fixes the problem.
However in some cases I still end up with file names with the wrong case, that have to be manualy renamed.
Also the Front Page theme file names stay as all upper case. This was solved be deleting them all, changing a page to another theme and changing it back, at which point it regenerated them all as lower case file names
What a mess.
I've got the site displaying about 85% ok, but still some things are incorrect. I assume there are some files either missing or still the wrong case. I'll have to go through file by file and check them.
