I am looking to create a 1000+ page website and will like to use a CMS for this. It is a community portal with lots of information, and hopefully lots of participation by the community.
My most important concern is creating it under a CMS that is well optimized for search engines. Some people have recommended CMS solutions, but I would like to get your opinion...

That's my first option right now, but I was concerned about its components for making it an attractive portal. Also, how's the template integration in it? I don't like its excessive use of tables. Can that be changed?
