I've got a PDF document which doesn't print out (useful huh?). The creator must have disabled printing on the document.

I've been looking around for any clues to how you unlock it, but haven't found anything.

Does anyone know how to unlock PDF docs, or is it impossible?

This is a "feature" in Adobe Acrobat and Acrobat Reader. However, as PDF is an open document format, there are many free PDF readers out there who don't understand the no-print function, so will print the document without problems. Careful what you download, though, as there are a few out there which include spyware and other nasties.

Just goes to show there is no way of protecting online content with silly software functions.
