Can anyone recommend a cheap, reliable hosting company that supports PHP4+ and MySQL?

Another feature I'd like is the ability to host more than one website (as in, two completely different domains) on the same account. I don't know if this comes cheaply ... but it would really be nice.

(Oh yeah, and it has to be PHP as a module, not the CGI version. I would think that's what most companies do anyway, but it's particularly important for this project, so I want to make sure it's there.)

Thanks!

I'm in the US but I don't care where the host is; they could be anywhere.

You need to think about this a bit IMHO. For example if I were going after a UK market it would be an act of lunacy on my part to get US hosting with a .com.

It is cool being hosted in the UK with a co.uk as the results filter up. The same thing can be seen for other countries.

So I ask again, this will help you narrow down where to look. :)

Okay, my mistake. I saw that bashing of this or that hosting provider wasn't okay, but I didn't think a thread recommending this or that host would be a problem.

Regarding location: I already have a .com domain name. I'm just looking for someone to host the site.

We have many members that are involved with hosting. Unfortunately some of them use these types of threads to advertise.

I was waiting for you to clarify your needs before closing this thread. Perhaps some folks may stickymail recommendations to you.

A search on "web hosting ratings" will reveal some reliable sites. After you've narrowed your choices, search the news groups [google.com] for additional feedback.
