My experience and opinion says if you want to do well in search engines avoid Nuke sites like the plague. I realise you can use mod rewrite to improve the spider-ability but at the end of the day you don't have the control to make the subtle tweaks you need.
Anyway now I'm in the position of being able to say "I told you so!" to a client whose site is absolutely floundering in Google on relatively un-competitive keywords. I'm also working for a company who use Post Nuke.
Question is can Nuke sites succeed in Google or any other SE for that question and are there any recommended methods, particularly a preferred mod rewrite method and other tweaks.
