Hiya! We are about to migrate our web server to a new server - NT to 2000 also. For some reason, creating the project scope document has fallen into my lap - the lowly webmaster. I've never created a scope document for a project - usually our PM covers that. Help? Does anyone have a template they'd be willing to share. I'm more of a fill-in-the-blank person as opposed to a create on my own :op

Any help is much appreciated - but I understand if you don't want to share... My email is snipped if you want to communicate that way. Or IM Yahoo!/MSN ID is paigehooha for both... Thanks!

Hi Paige,

I don't have any samples, and I'm more of a Unix guy than Windows when it comes to Web sites. But:

1. Does the document need to include the installation/setup of the server, or just the migration of the site itself?

2. What technology does the site employ? Is it database driven? SQL server? ASP? Shopping cart/order entry? If none of these, then is it just static pages, and how many?

These answers will help determine the scope.
