My old page is widgets.asp
and the page it redirects to is wattsits.asp
When google is calculating the density of the word widgets on the page, what does it see?
Will it just see the original "widgets.asp" on the page, or does it go the extra step and first change this to "wattsits.asp" before calculating densities?
So, if my widgets page links to 10 pages called widgets-1.htm,widgets-2.htm, and says widgets once in the text, then widgets will be on the page 11 times.
