Hi,

I am gonna build a content site consits of mostly articles and also list of links. I wonder which application best suits such work. I will use a perl links management program to build the links part, for the article part, I am not sure which application to use.

I have experience with Frontpage and my server is FP enabled, but I don't like FP somehow and it doesn't blend well with other CGI scripts on the same server.

I also tried WebGui, a server-side content managment program. I spent one whole day to figure out how to build a site in vain and wasted $50 for purchasing the support document which is just a pile of gabbage.

I would like you to suggest a simple but sophiscated server-side (or locally installed) application for my site.

thanks.

I'm not sure I understand what you're doing, but for a comparison of content management systems, you might check [opensourcecms.com...] . The site has a forum discussing cms and even demos of some of the products. Not all cms are listed there, though.

I found that it's worth posting a message explaining what you need, because someone developing a program like what you're looking for is likely to respond.
