PDF hyperlinks

keeping hyperlink in document after distilled

I don't know if this is the right place to post/ask this. I am using Adobe Distiller to create PDF files of our newsletter but I'd like to keep the hyperlinks "active" or "live" so that they can be clicked on, leading the reader to the appropriate site/file. Can someone tell me how to do this?

I think you have to open the PDF back up in Acrobat to do it. Here's a presentation I found on a .gov site that seems to explain the process quite well.
