i just recently used a software called site publish or something(removed it and cant remember ) i got from a pc magazine. it did some synch between pc and server. and now i cannot view the site. i have changed all the permissons to 777, including the public_html folder, but still cannot access. it says im not authorisezed to access. any idea what can be happening...?

It's very difficult to even hazard a guess about this problem since there are so many things that could be causing it. I would probably upload the entire site again using an FTP program that I had previously used successfully.
You may have created additional problems by changing permissions too. If memory serves, html files usually have 644 for permissions.
It may be time to ask your hosting company for help. :)
