Anyone seen this before !?

Left my PC locked and an internet session active. I come back from a meeting to see Atrition.org on the screen! Not what I was viewing. I think my session was hijacked.

Any one else experience this? Is this common?

Do you have any remote access services or daemons running on your machine? Or is it just a client?

Could have been a timed redirect or something from the site you were viewing? You may want to grab a copy of a spyware and anti-virus program, and make sure you don't have anything running you don't know about.

Or maybe it was just a co-worker playing a prank. :)

Ran anti virus ware, nothing found.

Co worker too stup... sorry, actually the machine was locked out.

I was viewing Yahoo.com, probably not them.

The site was attrition.*rg

I am also behind a professional managed firewall. (Which may or may not help ;) )

Weird, really weird. Come guys, was it one of you?

Should be a spy-ware. Run any anti spyware tool like SpyBot or AdAware most probably will be suprised with results.
