Good Hosts in the U.S.

Hi Everyone,

I'm presently scouting around for a good host(s) in the U.S. hosting marketplace. I thought rather than crawl through the net, looking for self-appraised accounts of how great thy hosting is - which it certainly comes across as. I instead think asking the members of webmasterworld, about their views, concerns, criticisms, and appraisals is a far better idea or reality.

What i need from the host is the following.

Two virtual accounts.
each with a Fixed IP from a different C-class
PHP / MySQL latest engines
Linux based - super user access (command line)
Multiple domain / pop3 accounts
Thwarte / Verisign
Shopping Cart (available - or installation of one allowed).
At least 150mb space per account.
Data Transfer of 5-10Gb per month before getting penalised for each and every mb of transfer.

Key concerns:

Downtime per year (anything less than 99.95%, is too much)

As long as nothing dodgy, we get left alone by there marketing and pr people (i.e. were already a customer if we need anything else - we are sure we can ask).

Possibly blacklisted servers and IP blocks, due to past account holders activities, and of course current.

Appreciate any feedback!

Cheers, Sweeper

You would think so, but we generally don't sing praises of hosts here. Everyone has their favorite and everyone has horror stories. Best to search the existing threads on the subject than to start yet another round of "My host is great - my host sucks".
