Has any one run across any tools that will let query ODBC databases from the command line?

I did a little searchin' and found this [databasejournal.com], scroll down to OSQL in the "Other Tools" section. Is it close to what you need?

Discalimer: I know nothing about SQL and less about ODBC, but I do know how to bump a post!:)

:) Thanks Dave. As far as I understand with OSQL, it is a command line query tool for Microsoft SQL Server only. I'm thinking generic ODBC tools exist from the DOS days, or even a Perl/PHP version...

Yes, there is a good generic ODBC/SQL tester which I use, but can't remember the name at all. I use it at work and will look it up when I return to the office.
