How to show content in Hindi Language

Hi all,

I want to know using UTF-8 charset in meta tag how can I write content for my website to display it in Hindi Language. Like Google use it in its Hindi Service. Can anybody help it out.

does not look like a flood of knowledge to help you there :-)

suggestion .. can you get to browse or otherwise visit some Hindi pages / sites ... then either decipher how they did it or if that fails ask them directly?

Yeah, but most sites "cheat". They convert the text to a gif.

A couple of good sites I visit are a Hyderabadi newspaper: hindimilap.com

you can download some Hindi fonts from hindinest.com/hindifonts/hindifonts.htm

Even AMD have a website in Hindi! dae.gov.in/amd/hindi/hindhome.htm

Note: Your visitors may need to download the font - you may want to post a link to a download on your homepage and make that a gif :-)
