you can visit www.w3schools for good informaton on ASP, and tutorials abound for JSP and PhP.

Those are the languages to connect your web pages to the database.

For a tutorial on the database itself, you need to tell us which database you are using.

Sorry about that. I have Oracle but it's not accepting my username and password. Even the default SYSTEM/MANAGER username/password combo doesnt work.

But I have mySQL too, so I'll probably be working with that.

for web work, and to get help, I would recommend mySql. There's lots of free help available. Oracle is a whole different animal.
