Setting up a WORKING server

Been in 4 rounds with PHP, and i give up

Ok...

I'm using Apache 2.0.47 and ActivePerl 5.6.1.633.

I must have installed, uninstalled and reinstalled 5 or 6 times. But each time i try and load the PHP module in Apache it always come back with not being able to load the D:/php/sapi/php4apache2.dll because it cant find it...even though it's actually there, in the folder...

Does anyone know of compatible version's of Apache, PERL and MySQL that actually run together on XP Pro? Download locations or a good 'How To' would be nice :)

I think that if you are going apache/perl/php, Windows really isn't the best platform. What made you choose windows instead of going for a unix box in this situation? I've also heard things about apache not necessarily being as secure when running under windows as linux. Most people just use it for testing. That said, I've had alot of luck setting up the combo with a tool called phpdev by firepages. Here is the link, but if it gets moderated, just search for the above terms:
