I'm about to write an app that will save news articles in XML format. I'd like to be as forward compatable as possible (given the rapid changes occurring in the XML world) and have considered following the Dublin Core's schema but wanted to check with you folks to see if you're aware of another schema that seems to be taking the lead.

Can any of you XML wizards offer lorax a suggestion or two?

Thanks for the bump DaveAtIFG. It seems no one has an alternate solution so I think I'm going to use something a hybrid of the DC stuff.

I donīt have any alternative to offer. But just go ahead lorax. If you know the syntax of your schema then everything is fine and converting to another one is very easy.

Lorax,
I'm not familiar with the schema you will be using, but if it does follow what you need, then by all means use that. As andreas said, if you know the syntax, then you should be fine.
