Been looking around at 3rd party search solutions to enhance the search on my site (which at the mo is pretty simple, just a sql statement that has to have a exact match or part match)

Bene looking at Atomz Enterprise Search but it is quite expensive (around $12000 a year) just wondered if anyone has used them or anyone else they could recommend?

Would have to spider the site, all the pages are dynamically generated so can't use index server which would have been ideal :-(

You might want to take a look at KSearch [kscripts.com]. It will crawl through your website and is free. I'm pretty sure it would go alright on dynamic content, but you might have to test this yourself.

Hi bateman_ap

Gigablast has a search facility you could use

http*//www.gigablast.com/free.html

"Gigablast has a limitation of around 10,000 to 20,000 pages per site for most sites so if you need to index more pages than that you should consider Gigablast's paid site search product. It also features even more accurate search results than this free one."

B grateful for a heads up if you use it.

Hi,

h*tp://www.freefind.com/ is quite good, but I had to create a dummies guide for it with all my dynamic links in place, but it managed once that was in place...
