Greetings!

When I try to edit a web site (on a Win 2000 server) by using Frontpage 2000 - my username and/or password are not accepted - no error message, the password/username dialog box just keep popping back up (it retains the username, eliminates the password) - I am using XP Home - in fact two different machines with XP Home.

When on an XP Pro machine and Frontpage 2000 - no problems. When on a Windows 98 machine and Frontpage 2000 - no problems. The frustrating part is that it once worked - now now luck at all!

Any thoughts and/or suggestions?

Not sure what to tell you. It sounds suspiciously like the classic Win9X password problem with Dialup networking. There's a ton of info about it on Annoyances.org.

Greetings!

Thanks for responses guys! No offense taken regarding the correct case - I have tried every possible combination - but no luck. I shall have a look at Annoyances.org

Thanks again!
