anyone use GBK charset of mysqlserver and tested with inserting blob?

if you don't multibyte charset in mysqlserver, you could not help on this thread

sorry Xuefer, it didn't seem to work out in scripting let's see if a bump and slide over to technology will help.

i thought ppl use php often use mysql
i've also post this problem to mysql mailinglist, no one take care about it, so disappointed

the new charset UTF-8 in mysql-4.1 maybe use the same method to escape mbstring/blob, so the mysql developers will take care about it
hope it fix soon
