DreamWeaver Uploads

Any way to track how far along the upload is?

I'm using DW4 and I'm sitting here impatiently waiting for a site to finish uploading. Problem is I have no idea how far along the upload is and I'm on dialup.

Is there any way to find out how far along the upload is? Any setting I can change that I don't know about that will let me peek? As it is, DW just gives me the hourglass and tells me which file is currently being uploaded and how large that file is.... *sigh*

Hmm...

I prefer using ws_ftp. I'm sure you have your reasons for using dreamweaver to upload.

Ipswich has a free "lite" version of their ftp program that's quite good, too. Much better than the adware alternatives.

When you're uploading someone else's stuff and they've got a boatload of things that have nothing to do with the site in the folder, it's just easier to upload in DW. I can select only the html files, then tell the program to upload the dependent files without me having to select each and every file. It's lazy, I know, but it works for me most of the time. ;)

I use ws_ftp as well. I was just curious because of the amount of stuff that's currently being uploaded. That and the fact that it's getting late here and I have no idea how far along the download is.... <yawn>
