Hello:
Could someone recommend a tool to monitor front end and back end? I need something to monitor that the front of my site is taking orders and that the data is been properly captured by the sql server with an alert system that would include sending email and/or sms messages to a cel phone

Any response would be appreciated....

Hello Eccus - welcome to WebmasterWorld,
What exactly do you want to monitor?

For the front end monitoring, WebTrends have an enterprise logger that allows you to connect it to your shopping cart and track order numbers and details.

Not sure about the database alert system though....

Ah... I'd hazard a guess that you'll need to either write something or kluge together a solution from a variety of independent scripts. I check such things manually myself.

I found something on Download.com called Site Vigil 4.0. Is anybody familiar with it?
