Hi

For the last 2 days I have been unable to gain access to my site via my host. I open the 'web folder' through FrontPage 2000 and the Enter Network Password box displays.

I click OK (save password is ticked) and the box displays again, and then once more with this message;

You do not have permission to access this web folder location

I have contacted my host who say it isn't a problem their end, but to remove all *.web - and FP temp files.

I've done all this, and also spent hours on the net looking for an answer.

Also detected and repaired FrontPage, and on START/RUN e:\add-ons\pws\setup.exe - to try and override any problems on the server extensions.

I have also reinstalled FrontPage and then repaired FP Server Extensions.

It's still the same.

The Enter Network box displays really quickly so I'm sure it is not reaching my host and therefore a local problem.

I have run a Ping test - that was OK.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks in advance - Stephen

Welcome to WebmasterWorld Stephan! Unfortunately, we have few FrontPage users as regular members which is probably why you haven't yet received any replies. If no one else offers suggestions, this search [google.com] turned up some promising leads.
