Macromedia now suggests that 97% of browsers have some level of flash.

But like anything else -- there are Lies, Damned Lies and Statistics.

90% is suggested by this survey.

According to Macromeda, Flash market penetration [macromedia.com] reached 98.3% as of Sept. 2002.

They probably believe I have Flash about 30 times.

In the end I uninstalled it - just keeps crashing the machine.

You can have a flash plugin on the browser and then not accept ActiveX objects this will block out the majority of Flash sites.

That is the set up I have at the moment. I know what you can do with an ActiveX object.
