I just want to make sure that there isn't anything I need to do when one of my clients is doing a dns transfer of the site.

THe domain is staying the same, but I don't them to loose any positioning. Is there anything that needs to be done?

Apologies for missing this one the first time around. Moved it over here to a more appropriate forum.

Agreed, switching dns can be daunting. If you do it as fast as possible, there isn't anything special you should have to do. If you are moving the entire site - say to a new host - then leave the old site there 24hours longer than you think you need to. If your bill is paid up through the end of the month, then leave it at the old site a week longer and then put up a redirect on the old ip.
