I just returned from the Search Engine Strategies conference in Munich, Germany. It was great, but there was one question I was unable to answer at the conference, and I am hoping this group can help.
Since I am not a programmer, I do not know how to set up permanent redirects (301, I believe). I know it depends on the server type, but that is the limit of my knowledge. I sure would like to point to some excellent resources on this topic both on my web site and during these conferences.
Can anyone point me to some resources? Or, if you want to write an article on it and post it on your web site, I will be more than happy to use it.
