Problem - Client has sattelite connection, running Windows 2000. We have a server running Windows 2000. When trying to logon to our server to publish pages she created with Frontpage, because of the delay associated with sattelite connections, the login times out before she can log on.

Question - Is it possible, and if so, how?, to extend the timeout for a Windows 2000 server logon?

This site [ntfaq.com] usually provides answers to my NT/W2K questions.

Girumuu,

Timeouts are also a problem when trying to do VPN (Virtual Private Networking) over satellite. You might want to check with the satellite ISP, view their knowledge base, or ask about this in their (or third-party) satellite user forums. You'll have a much-better-concentrated user base to help there.
