Hi

I have had a play using Ultradev with win 98 and odbc connectivity using pws. I now have a new pc with XP installed, there is no PWS on XP home edition, any ideas what I can use instead?

Thanks

IIS or Apache, if you use a Microsoft host you would go with IIS. If you use a unix host for you hosting I would say go with Apache.

Here are some passed discussions

I believe your options are build a win2k box or 98 box to run IIS or buy a program like dreamweaver which will emulate iis. There are a few free nt hosts out there for development.

Hi

I have Dreamweaver and Ultra Dev (not the bloke from Coronation St)

How does it emulate IIS , this a feature I have never seen?

Scratch that out. I was told that dreamweaver mx had asp 2.0 emulation. I just checked and it does not. I guess you can either run the fix, rebuild a machine, or do it on a host.
