Auction Software or Service?

I've done a search and can't seem to find what I'm looking for at a reasonable price. A software prgram will do but I really would like a service that I will allow me to set up the site via my browser and pay a monthly fee.

You can download perl scripts to run your own auctions if you really want to. But I wouldn't want to compete with eBay.

Ebay rule the auction front..what you could do is offer an auction on a specific product range, collectable widgets or something rather than across the entire board.
