Although Princess Laya's request is played over and over, I'll just ask this once and rely on the super intelect of WW to come through for me.

I've set the vspider to run from http*//localhost/index.htm and it spiders the entire site, about 1685 pages. I've watched it run in the command window and I can see it running through the urls one by one indexing the site.

I am using the following command to run the spider

Vspider -collection d:\Verity\Collections\search\col -start http*//localhost/pawaintranet/index.htm -cgiok -loglevel verbose -abspath -prefixmap d:\Verity\Collections\search\map.txt -purge

The map.txt tells verity to replace http*//localhost/ with http*//powase/pawaintranet/

When I use cfsearch on the collection the title, summary, number of documents are returned but the url is blank href=""

I have read and followed the documentation both at macromedia and here but I still come up empty. I have also been to the Macromedia forums several times looking for help with no luck.

Hope someone can help.

Justa.

Have you tried Verity support?

Yes, but verity will not support the bundled version. I get the "It's only a taste of what verity is capable of....if you would like to see the full version please let us know and we will have one of our sales rep's contact you."
Credit to verity, they contact you shortly after with a good sales pitch, but with no technical knowledge. Unfortunately it is VERitY high priced.
