[edit reason] remove URL [/edit]
What format is your 360 degree tour in? Could you import it into a format that is supported by XP?
I had a similar problem with a client's site when XP started being shipped. I was able to get around it by detecting Java, then pushing the user to Sun's site to download the plug-in.
If you want to see how I did it, shoot me an e-mail. This way I don't have to post a client's URL here...
The choice is: Do I use a different format that does not require the JVM, so that XP users don't need to go through the hassle of a large download and install? Or, do I bite the bullet and show them where to get it and what to do?
The latter has it's faults in the fact that users may just not want to download it and leave your site altogether. The former may involve extra cost/development time/loss of quality.
Perhaps detecting for Java and showing an image slide show (or something like that) for people without the JVM may be an idea, with Java enabled users getting the interactive presentation.
