Auto complete and secure pages

Why does autocomplete not work with Secure pages

Why is it that IE browser's Auto-complete function does not work for some forms that are contained on secure pages?

I have seen it function on other secure pages so there must be a setting of some sort which I lack on my secure pages

you use autocomplete=form in the input field

It's a sensible precaution, though. If the information is sensitive enough to have to be transmitted via the HTTPS protocol, it makes sense not to have autocomplete activated by default.

Of course, I would love it if IE stored my credit card number without my knowledge, until I fill out your form again... use with care :)
