Hi, im using Erol E-commmerce software to build a site...(and am very pleased with the software - i highly recommend) - but this presumably uses frames to create a 'page' section, a 'menu' section, a 'toolbar' section (at the top), and a 'basket' section at the bottom. I have graphical images as button in this menu frame, with rollovers, nothing fancy, and need to know of the spiders will cope with them...? As its an e-commerce site SE's are very important, will i have to add textual links as well, or a sitemap with no frames...? How best do i proceed...?

Thanks in advance for any help...

Harley, you've raised a LOT of issues. I'd suggest that your first step is to research each of them using the site search engine at the top of the page.

I'd suggest these searches:

"frames search engines"
frames spiders"
"image links"
"graphic links"
"text links"
"javascript links"

I assume you're using a template based program here. I don't know this particular program, but it sounds like you're going to need to tweak the code by hand for best results. I hope you can do this without making it impossible to continue to use the program - that would be the first thing you need to discover.

I'm not familiar with the program, either. In addition to tedster's research advice, you might run a test page through sim spider.
