I have been given a Visio flowchart. Sort of large, around 300 step chart. They department that gave it to me had no clue that the .vsd file could not be a page unto itself (they even want me to hyperlink certain steps to go to another page/chart).
How can I make this display? Is the a format that I might convert it to. I guess they can use text but I know that would not be "acceptable" to them.

Anyhow in visio there is a "create an new webpage" option that you can link the boxed to some_page.html.
You can also "spider" a site and create a flowchart from any url.
Visio is powerfull once you spend the time messin with it.
I love the "create flow-chat" from a url feature.
Let me know how it works out for ya
Well the linking feature is cool (right click). I think though image maps might be easier to maintain (?). They say that steps inside of the flow charts will change sporadicaly and will need updated frequently. IE: added processes and links to new VSDs. I was worried that I would be having to recreate the export each time. Guess I will find out in the next month the best approach.
Thanks again though,
Brian
