meta title tag dilemma

I have a client who insists that the title of his page contain the name of the product and a quote, i.e. Serta: "The World's Best Mattress" (meaning actually using the quote marks). Does anyone think this would trip up search engines?

Thanks,

VG

Use the above (minus the spaces) instead of the " character. It will not trip up most search engines.

Did you explain to him that that's probably not the best title to use? I'm sure you did. Still it's better than just the company name with no explanation at all of what the page is ;)

Thanks for the help. I'll definitley use the " rather than actual quotes. Yeah, I did try to convince the client to use something else, but the line is important to them and they seem to want it in quotes until it's trademarked. Gotta love corporate America.

Don't you love clients that don't listen. At least they aren't going to have untitled.html as there title.
