IIS 5
Using Frontpage XP
Page is: <snip>

People can browse htm files, but cannot download files. Always gives a page cannot be found error.

I set the links up as normal Hyperlinks in Frontpage.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try zipping the files. I think iis is trying to execute your .exes. You probably don't have that permission turned on (and don't!).

Ok it now works, but it prompts people to log in now using authentication. Why doens't it allow the IIS account to access it anonomously.(sp?)

Look at your permissions in the iis manager for that folder. I think you need to allow anonymous logon.
