How do we know Poison Words exist? Has anyone done any kind of scientific method testing on this? Or has someone just said, "Oh, well, it must be one of the ways search engines pick out SPAM - I must tell others so they don't go ignorantly using these words!" It doesn't make a lot of sense that they would mark you down for certain keywords when those words are used on perfectly valid, high ranking sites.
