Stationery will not scroll

I just upgraded to XP, Outlook Express 6 apparently does not support scrolling stationery (or the scripts I use at least). There appears to be no way to revert back to OE 5.50, as there is no uninstall feature for IE 6 & another IE version cannot be installed over the top of it.
Any ideas?
