I guess this thread was a victim of the file restriction mess... Just a note. If you think you would like this browser more without all the AOL junk check out mozilla.org [mozilla.org]. The latest open source browser is nearly identical to NS6, but without the junk.

I just tried it with my shopping cart system and didn't have a problem. Maybe you have to do the full install to get SSL to work?

There are also a few other Mozilla-based browsers floating around out there. The Beonex Project's distribution at [beonex.com...] is one of the better known ones. Like the mozilla.org distributions, it includes MathML and IRC support but no AOL and AOL partner stuff.
Mozilla 0.8 is due for release shortly, I hear.

Yes, it looks like the top 5 or 6 posts were lost. I did find the article again. Users cry foul with Netscape 6 [infoworld.com]
